Tips:
- Avoid fatty cheese platters and snack on assorted unsalted nuts or raw veggies with a healthy dip instead.
- Replace your eggnog with apple cider.
- Use low-sodium, MSG free chicken broth to add flavor to mashed potatoes, stuffing, and other side dishes.
- Add heart healthy dried cranberries, raisins, and apricots to stuffing.
- Skip pre-packaged gravy and make it from scratch instead.
- Skip pre-packaged pie crusts, cakes, and cookies and opt for homemade desserts, fresh fruit, and crustless pumpkin pie instead.
- Serve lean cuts of meat.
- Eat your veggies

Dr. Cherniawski's Holiday Recommendation: Have fun and indulge sensibly. Remember to consume plenty of water, fruit, and vegetables, and take your daily supplements. Exercise a little bit everyday and practice deep breathing, mediation, or prayer for stress reduction. And, don't forget your chiropractic adjustment!

Re: Holiday Healthy Eating
Great ideas doctor! I thought I was the only one that recommended crustless pies. Glad to see you do as well...
