Employers pay more for overweight and obese employees than for employees who weight what they should. As reported by the American Journal of Health Behavior, companies spend $114 per year for normal-weight employees, $513 per year for over-weight employees, and $620 per year for obese employees.
To save money, corporations must invest in effective weight loss programs.
Traditional weight loss programs rely on calorie reduction, exercise, and pharmaceuticals. While many people can lose weight, most regain the weight, and sometimes more, when these programs end. Rebound weight gain occurs because traditional programs do not address the underlying cause of unwanted weight: toxins.
As harmful toxins enter the body, the body protects itself by surrounding them in fat. Because traditional programs do not address toxicity, the body prevents or stalls weight loss during the program and encourages weight gain at the conclusion of the program. In the long run, traditional programs are ineffective and fail to save companies money.
To save money, corporations must install effective cleansing weight loss programs that remove toxins from the body, improve overall health, and result in safe, maintainable weight loss.
